    Good feedback thanks. To their credit straight-away they said take it to the shop of our choice and agreed to get us working directly with their insurer. It was all a huge PITA but ultimately we got to what looks like a fair resolution.

    Dealer caved and agreed to pay for everything. They whined and moaned at length until we threatened to take it all public and 18-hours later came back and agreed to have their insurer cover everything — LOL.

    Loaner in hand as of yesterday. No visibility on timing of repair but the dealer is now fully compliant after I managed to get a “supervisor” from Ford to hear me out… …she has been the bomb and it’s pretty much been smooth sailing ever since. Thanks to all for the input/ideas. Cheers fellas…

    Excellent information. My irritation stems from the expectations set by the technician on Monday, pretty much said it wouldn't be a problem. I did open a case directly with Ford yesterday and am waiting on them to reach out...was promised a call-back there within "1 business day".
