Put Bilstein 5100s all around the Expedition Max today. 1.6” in the front and 1.1” in the rear. May end up moving the rear all the way up but will see how it goes once it settles. Put Nitto Recon Grappler 285 50r 22 on it…. Wanted ridge grapplers but they are expensive as rip for 22” wheel, but...
Besides just daily use, which I have a laundry list of reasons I need space…. Just drove 4hours to the beach with my wife, my 2yr old twin girls, and 2 Boykin spaniels, and I feel like we brought everything we own and there is still room. Couldn’t make these trips without the max…..and adding...
Day 1, yes it was too much. Now, it has grown on me and I like it. However, I still wish the ac controls were buttons instead of on screen but I am not complaining.
A positive that this has that my 2021 king ranch f250 doesn’t have is the wireless CarPlay. I really like CarPlay and don’t have...
I matched the rear, which I believe is 20%. Tinted the windshield 70%, you can’t tell from inside that windshield is tinted but it he’s shield heat. The tints that I installed are ceramic
Those 2 are still there, the f250 has 4 in the front seat. this has plenty of cup holders, I’m just Used to more. Honestly, no real complaints. The doors seem like they don’t shut extremely well unless slammed but my wife’s 21 exp is the same way so I guess that’s normal? all In all, I like it
Here are a few of the interior, if there is something in particular you would like to see, let me know. The giant screen was overwhelming but I am used to it now.
what do I not like? Although it looks “cool”, I wish the gear shifter was on the column, as well as the 4wd shifter, I really like...
The floor activated rear door works, haven’t needed it but will probably come in handy one day. Rear ac controls are there, as well as rear heated seats. See photo.
Order date for mine was 1/17/22, build week was 5/15/22 and it came into my dealership in Columbus, GA on 6/17/22 and I picked it up that evening.
due to the chip shortage, the auto start/stop was removed and so was the automatic parking thing(don’t recall exact name).
Tinted front windows and windshield, now just waiting on my Bilstein 5100s to come in. Prob go 285 50 or 55r22 nitto ridge grappler on the stock 22s whenever the Bilstein come In. I’ll post some interior photos later.
I just got my weathertechs for my 22 max yesterday, they fit perfectly. Only strange thing is where the 3rd row connect to the second row, there is one of the 4 connectors missing…. See photo. Doesn’t bother me though.
Mine has a delivery date of the 20th of this month….. I will believe it when I see it… really excited though! First ever SUV for me, truck won’t cut it with 3 girls under 3.
I ordered mine from Jackit.com just yesterday, They showed in stock for front and rear. However, I have not received a shipping confirmation yet. I’m not in a big rush, my expedition max has an eta of being here on the 20th…. I’ll believe it when I see it….
What are your 5100 set on front and rear? I’m prob going to install 5100 to my new Max limited when it comes in and put 33.xx on it on the stock 22s or swap with my wife and use her stock 20s from her 21….. also, is that St. George Island? @EricExpedition
I have a 22' Expedition Max Limited that should be here in a few weeks and trying to order my weather techs.... There is no option for the 22 on their site so was going to order for the 21, just wanted to make sure that they are the same now... Probably a stupid question but ya never know
looks great! Have you by chance measured the gap from tire to fender on front and back? @HRE05
I will be towing some, but prefer to have it as level as possible when not towing
Hello everyone, I am moving from my truck to the 2022 Expedition Max as soon as it gets here in a few weeks due to my family size increasing! My wife has a 2021 exp max and I really like it so I picked one up that is on the way.
BUT….. I need to put lift it up a little with some larger tires...
