    Thanks for the compliments It really wasn't that hard. A holesaw and a boxcutter and there you have it. I just wanted to be able to leave the hitch installed and not have that huge gaping hole back there. Plus, if you want to steal my hitch, you’re gonna have to really work at it.

    I should add, with the smallish hole for the drawbar I had to lay underneath and put the pin in from below the truck. I think a hitch plug might look OK with it, but if I try another one I want to relocate the plug in to eliminate or disguise the round hole. Also, the aerosol touch up paint...

    Sure. Part # NL1B-17F000 This is it in primer. The square hole is 2 7/8 square. The round is 2 1/4” centered vertically with the square, and is7 5/8” left of center. You can see the 2 chain holes on the bottom. They are 1” wide and 2 3/4 long. Could be shorter, but I tried a rounded end and...

    That would be me. I’ve got a replacement cover ordered to cut on and plan to start with small openings and enlarge as necessary, then I’ll paint to match. Keeping the factory one stock in case I ruin the replacement one.

    Mine is HERE! On my way to the dealership now. Ordered 9/12, build date of 11/28. 12/21 delivery, so right at 3 1/2 months total. Aside from the lack of good communication from Ford, not a bad experience overall.

    Yep. My window sticker is back too. If ford’s intention is to move away from dealerships and go strictly custom order, then they have a very long way to go before they can go that route without losing all their customers.

    My window sticker has disappeared also, but the order tracker still shows “ built”, and I got the dreaded delay email yesterday. Chip hold maybe? Who knows? The lack of clear and informative communication is maddening.

    Wrong. I ordered HD tow, and had a Nov 28 build date, and a Dec 5 date on the tracker next to “in production”. Today, Dec 8, I got an email saying basically “psyche! Not gonna happen. We’ll ******** you some more in 45 days or so.”

    I ordered mine on 9/12/22. King Ranch with eLSD, 4wd, and heavy duty tow. Got an email on Oct 11 with a Nov 28 production date. No progress this morning, but just checked again and now show “in production”! Anyone know how long befor the window sticker will show up?

    Just checking in as a new member here. I ordered my 2023 Max King Ranch back in September, and now have a scheduled build date of Nov 28. I’m looking forward to the new ride and all the great info available on the forum.
