Has anyone had issues getting the remote start to work the 2nd time. Mine just honks and shows a red light on the fob. Dealer fixed it once, but then it came back. If anyone has a solution I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks for the elaborate response! I live in Texas, and it's the wife's truck, so I was wondering if I could get a "win win" by using the same oil as I use in my 6.7 powerstroke. You're probably right about just sticking to the recommended by the engineers. I'm the guy that always wants "extra"...
There are some people that swear by 5w40 for the 3.5 HO's ("Raptor" engine). We have a 2022 Timberline I don't care about fuel mileage. Goal is to put the oil weight that will protect the engine better. I run Lubrication Engineers or Amsoil with a OE filter. Thanks in advance.
Awesome pics and thanks for the detailed description!
What brand did you go with?
BTW, you sir, are a brave man lol. I might cut and fabricate some shims from my 3/8 steel targets to push it out a inch or so, but cutting that little bit doesn't look bad at all. Hmmmm
I want to get a brush guard for my 22 Timberline, but couldn't find any that says it'll fit. What did you need to trim for to fit a 2019 onto your 22? I have angle grinders at the ready.
