    the explorer has far less sound deadening than the expedition. Much, much less engine and road noise in the expy, so I think what you're hearing is the noise enhancement. the SPP has an enhanced exhaust note because it's a true dual exhaust, too.

    You absolutely want the gen 2 3.5 ecoboost if anything for the port injection keeping the valves cleaner. Gen 1 3.5 EB really needs the intake manifold pulled and valves walnut blasted at around 100-125k miles due to carbon buildup. Not to mention a more efficient transmission and more hp/torque...

    Fan speed control is already built in and usable, but seat control is a different story because you have to specify which seat, what level, etc.

    I've used the build-in nav on our sync4a and like it a lot. It's akin to apple maps in accuracy, which around here is a lot better than google for whatever reason.

    Use Ford fluid. These transmissions are especially picky with trans fluid. It's not like 40 years ago with 4L60's that took just about anything.

    Yes, the HD Tow rear diff is a 9.75" whereas the non-HD tow models are 8.8. Housing and ring gear are larger. I suspect the axle shafts are beefier too.

    After a week with the rotary, you'll appreciate how much more open the console feels with it. If you have an unlimited budget and no problem burning cash, I guess anything is possible. But no amount of hate for a rotary shifter could convince me that a couple grand worth of parts and fiddling...

    hand tighten or air gun, still needs 150ft-lbs of torque. I wouldn't use aluminum lug nuts.

    Every 3.5EB from 2017+ (gen2) is PI and DI. You can tell these are gen2's because of the power figures versus gen1 3.5EB.

    Have used Castrol Magnatec with success in ecoboosts. Tends to have very good test results over on BITOG.

    Load range E tires are LT tires and will definitely NOT provide the smoothest ride, due to the load range.
