Top windshield weatherstrip
There has to be a trick to putting on the weatherstripping across the top of the windshield. Replaced it on an 03, and on an 01. Took way longer than it should’ve, with a lot more cursing. Still not happy with the result. It can’t be this difficult. Does anyone know the trick to getting this on...- JJinSFL

Switched power circuit / fuse # needed for dashcam.
Just did this on my 03. Fuse#1 is Run/Accessory on it. If there wasn't another option, I was going to just try running it hot and counting on the Blackvue's motion detection to automatically switch to/from parking mode- JJinSFL

Ventilation just…stopped
usually if the blower motor resistor starts acting up, the lower blower speeds fail first - could that be the problem. Very easy access behind the glove box- JJinSFL

03 Steering column, lower (bearing?) retainer
Pulled clock spring and steering wheel. Upper end of the column is good w almost no play. Only issue seems to be the area closer to the firewall. I even pulled the lower steering shaft to be sure there wasn't further issue elsewhere- JJinSFL

03 Steering column, lower (bearing?) retainer
03 Expy 4.6 2wd. Steering shaft had considerable play. Finally found the cause - column shaft can extended out from the column. It seems fine otherwise. Looked at a lot of column breakdown photos and an stumped. Something seems to be missing but, what? Seems there should be some sort of retainer...- JJinSFL

What to look for when buying a gen 1 expy
