My 5.4 3v valve spring compressor won’t start threading

5.4 3V - Broken Rocker Arm
Hello - My 2011 Expedition suffered the all-too-common rocker tick and eventually the rocker broke in half at 170k miles. Does it matter?
Does it matter which way the flow hits the vacuum? The new valve on right comes from manufacturer this way. Is this Fords new way to keep vacuum valve on heater Core inlet line out of the way of the outlet line that sits to the left? 03 Expedition 5.4l V8 EB 4x4- ExpoLady
