09 Eddie Bauer expedition started by itself

I have a 2009 Ford expedition Eddie Bauer. Once it started by itself in our garage, it does not have a remote starter. They replaced the ignition 6 months ago and tonight it started by itself again. Has anybody else had that kind of problem?

Sometimes there are after market remote starter kits. Maybe yours had one installed by previous owner/dealer and it is being tripped randomly by someone with a similar code in your neighborhood.

If you just bought this car take it back to the dealer and have it removed as it is a safety hazard if the car is parked in your garage.
