I've recharged auto air conditioning before and have the gauges and hookups but.............. I can't find the low pressure intake valve on the 1998. I found an "intake" valve but it was a different size than the kit that worked on my Voyager and Caddy. I think kthat it it must be the high pressure side?? I assume that all the connectors are the same size for R134A. Where is the intake valve hidden on this SUV? thxs

Have you found it yet?

I am not a mechanic so I don't know what everything is called. My neighbor charged my system for me, and we spent a good 30 minutes looking for it. On my 97 it is up by the firewall on the side of that silver canister. Hard to see. It has a black cap on it the makes it almost invisible. Once you find it, it's still hard to see. It points towards the front drivers side. Hope this helps.
