Hello Everyone,

I found out today that the Transmission Dipstick Tube on my 05 EXP EB 4wd was broken after randomly checking my transmission Fluid. Tried to pull out the dipstick and everything came out. I did not pull it all out of the engine bay area. I have tried to search for the replacement part and having a difficult time finding an exact product match.

Also, has anyone had this same issue, and is it a DIY project?

Need HELP. Thank You for any help on this.

Did it break above the retaining bolt ? It's an easy swap out once you remove the retaining bolt off the side of the motor. Might have to remove the passenger side inner fender liner for easier access to that retaining bolt. But once you remove that big retaining bolt you just pull it up and out of the tranny.

@HF,

I was on the road when I tried to check the oil level and didn't check where it disconnected at. It was just laying there and being held up by other wires/Tubes in the engine bay. I have no clue how long it been like that as well. I'm going to change the entire part for peace of mind. Thanks for the parts info. Truly appreciate it. I will update when repaired.
