Ok for starters, I had a bad blend door actuator that I could hear behind the dash. Took it apart and replaced the actuator. Fast forward a year later, and my heater stopped blowing hot, I would only get cold air. Then came Summer and I would only get hot air when set to cold. It will blow slightly cool air when its not over 90's, and I have it set to recirculate. Without it on recirculation it blows hot air. Now I can hear what sounds like a failed blend door actuator at the rear passenger side of my suv. I'm wondering if that could be the issue or not. The problem is it blows the same temp in the rear vents, and front vents. No heat in the cold weather, and barely cool in hot weather conditions. Leading me to believe it might be something else. I checked the freon levels using a guage I bought with a can of freon and made sure it's good. I'm going to replace the rear actuator but It's quickly getting into the 100's here and the hour and a half commute to and from work is brutal.
Any help for the forced novice mechanic would be greatly appreciated
