Hey Guys,

I'm down here in Las Vegas for the Barrett Jackson collector car auction and at the ford stand they have a 2015 parked. Its locked so i could not get in it but it looks freaking awesome. I spent a little time looking over what i could. I'm not a huge fan of the EcoBoost but i do think it will make a good fit. I'm excited to test drive one of these once they hit the lots.

It's probably because of his computer. I checked this thread on Tapatalk and the pic showed up. I'm on my work computer and it's not there.

Nice. I checked the local inventory here and it shows they have some and I may stop by this weekend to check it out.

I ordered a 2015 platinum max today to replace my 12 limited. I ordered silver with the brunello inside and 22 inch wheels with adaptive suspension

I work with the fleet department's for Cal and Kendall daily and they are still receiving 2014's as of Friday before i left (had one come in for a job i'm doing)

EDIT: just checked and saw Kendall does have a few on order, they are not on the ground yet though.

6k - I agree. We opted to go with the 14 instead of waiting for the 15. The inside of the 15 looks like it has the same (or similar) entertainment /console setup as the new explorer, which we didn't like as much. I prefer simple. The outside wasn't significant enough to wait for, if they had spruced it up we might have though. Also, I don't really understand the different engines and we were happy with the 5.4 in our 06. :imo:

Went to my local dealership last night to get a closer look

I wasn't all that impressed, not that I'm in the market for a new vehicle right now anyways, but if I was I didn't see anything that was worth the $57k price tag for the ecoboost xlt that I looked at.

I did like the wheels alot though, I took a side profile pic but my phone is acting up and it didn't save of course.

The site I looked it up on was wrong or I just misinterpreted it. I called before going to the cal fleet store and they said they had one, but when I got there there wasn't one. The guy I talked to thought I said explorer not expedition. I just wanted to see it anyhow, not like I was actually going to buy one... I don't see why it's taking so long for Ford to start putting them out. I've already seen many of the new Chevy/GMC SUVs. I did read that they had sold significantly more than the expedition though last year so maybe it's not as much of a surprise except for the fact that they are ugly and look bland from the exterior.

I'm glad someone else noticed, lol. I posted something awhile back about the fact that the redesigns have been more or less a glorified facelift with some other minor changes incorporated, but primarily still the same as the original 1st gen design. Why fix what isn't broken, but I think it's starting to break...

they should have done the grill something like the navigator...that's why i'm getting it

I'm actually a fan of the new expedition's grille. The new navigator grille looks more like a BMW grille to me.

Again I'm glad to see other people are seeing this with the exterior design and I hope Ford is receiving this feedback to help make the next design more diverse.

The ecoboost makes more HP and gets better MPG with a turbocharged V6. It's not revolutionary technology by any means and there are more efficient systems like a hybrid, but I don't think they sell nearly as well (Chevy/GM appeared to stop selling their hybrid versions in the tahoe and alike and I can only imagine it's because it wasn't selling well).

Hey everyone,

Remember - if you've ordered a 2015 Expedition, I'm happy to track the progress from conception to delivery. Just shoot me a PM with your dealer code and order number.

I got to see the 2015 KR this past weekend and have to say it looked good. It's "rated" for 20 mpg on the highway. I just can't afford a $6th vehicle!
