I've seen several posts about vibration, like a running on a rumble strip, while gently accelerating in 2wd. The issue doesn't appear in 4wd. The solutions offered varied from replacing coil packs, spark plugs, to unbalanced drive train or unbalanced wheels and tires.
The solutions mentioned above didn't make sense in my case because of the 2wd vs 4wd variable. Those symptoms showed up right around 60mph and again at 70mph. In my case the solution really was centered around the 2wd/4wd system. It was a simple check valve that cost around $30. Part Number: AL3Z-3A788-A.
I got the idea and troubleshooting how to from this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVcL2HrhxgM
Hope this helps someone searching for and troubleshooting this problem.
