I posted a video on TikTok about this. Video I posted on TikTok
How snug are the turbo coolant lines supposed to be on the jiffy fitting on the engine block?

It’s a 2017 3.5 ecoboost.

The line can go in any further because the engine mounting bracket hits the engine and gives it a hard stop. It seems like it should go in further. There was no satisfying click. I don’t want to send it until I get some confirmation on this. It was a huge pain to get the turbo out in general.

When I pull back on the line, it wants to take the retaining clip with it. So, I assume this is how it should work? It just seems like it will leak being this loose. Can anyone confirm if this looks correct?

Not sure, I haven't done this yet, but I would start it and check for leaks. A safer way is to pressurize it with a pump and check for leaks while wiggling it.
