Hello again everyone!
So I began swapping out my BO speakers and found that the front dash has 3 holes. left, center and right. All 3.5 stock B&O. Center swaps out easy. Plenty of room. Left (driver) swaps out with some light modifications for the magnet size and the right (passenger) is VERY RESTRICTIVE.
First off, the hole is not big enough to fit my upgraded speaker. I have a c2-350x and a cf-350mt from JL Audio that I'm working with in this swap scenario, opting for the c2 in the center and the cf-350mt in the corners as the .75 component from the c2 kits fit the pillar.
So opening up the hole in the passenger side you say? OK. No problemo. cut cut cut. Now what is this I see? It's the chamber for the air conditioning RIGHT IN THE WAY with NO GIVE. Now what folks? Anyone have any experience with this corner and the B&O Unleashed 22 speaker edition for swapping in speakers to what exactly to do next (without getting TOOOOOOOOO custom.. maybe that's my only choice, who knows?!)
Thanks in advance!
