Do you hear any weird clicking in the dash when you try to select a temperature? If it's not the freon charge I would say it's probably the temperature blend door or blend door actuator. Does it blow cold out of the rear A/C vents ? The rear has it's own evaporator and blend door. If so then I would definately lean toward the front blend door.

Find the large of the two lines to the compressor. See if it is cold. Should be. Also check and see if your heater valve is open by finding the 2 heater/coolant lines to the firewall and see if they are hot. If so and your heater is not on, then that may be the culprit.

also +1 on the blend door motor.

if all these are satisfied. I would take it in to get a full evac and recharge. The tech can tell you if you are good on refrigerant. if not have him add dye while charging and get a UV leak check.

Good luck.

If front AND back are blowing hot I would put a A/C gauge set on and see exactly what the freon charge is or if the compressor is even running. The front and back are basically two separate systems that share a common compressor and condenser. The common link between the two is the freon charge.
