Gotta 2016 Expedition. A lot of you have seen it before. Take good care of it. Then one day I notice these random scratches on the left fender. Then the left quarter panel. Then the roof. Thought to myself they might be self inflicted from the detailing I previously did. Must’ve leaned on the fender while buffing out the hood. Wait… I never laid on the roof though; or the quarter panel!!! So, what the hell is it?
Took the truck to a local wrap shop to get an estimate. The owner told me it was a paint defect called crow’s feet, or paint check. Wonder if Ford might do something about it. If not I’ll have to get the truck repainted, or wrapped to cover it up.
Got an example here. Not my vehicle, but pretty much the same layout. I’ll include random shots of mine in the morning.
