Looks like it started the self test mode and froze? I would pull the ground cable off the battery for a minute and reset everything, see if that clears it up. What year is the truck ? You can usually access the self diagnostic mode by holding down the RESET and INFO buttons together for 4 seconds if that helps.

Ive tried disconnecting the battery, it didnt help. Its a 2005...for about a month, it would randomly go to looking like this then back to normal. Now for the last week it has been looking like this.

I failed to mention that I just replaced my alternator today. It had a bad diode and bearings were starting to get loud.

Some kind of circuit board problem then. There's a couple of guys over on Ebay that repair them for $50 or so. I would contact them, send them the picture and description of what it was doing and see what they say. Worst case you can find a used instrument cluster from Ebay or a salvage yard and put it in there.

Yeah. I have seen a bunch on ebay, but there arent any that have the same model number. The cheapest I have found one for, is $150..then I have to pay Ford another $100 to program it. I have read some horror stories about people having it programmed from ford and then things in their expy dont work right...are those instances rare? Or is that something I should be concerned about?
