Bad ride on 2019 Expedition….

I had a lot of work on my 2019 Expedition Platinum Max this year one being new shocks and tires. Tires are what was on it Goodyear 22-284-45 and Ford brand replacement shocks front and back. Has over 100,000 miles and it rides worse than what it did before. Took it back to a dealership and they did the reset on the shocks by computer and not much better, they said it was ok to them but my wife sometimes rides in 3rd row we we have six passengers and she says it is like a log wagon.

Anyone else have this problem and can you suggest any fixes short of trading it in for something else?

Does it change when you switch it to Eco mode? The suspension is softer in Eco.

My wife and boy both get car sick in our 2019. I hate how much it floats. It almost feels like you’re gonna roll it on every corner(a little dramatic) but it does not handle well at all imo. It did improve when I put on new Michelin tires vs the khumo that were on it. I’ve considered adding sway bars I have seen some people say that But I keep having to spend thousands to repair it so I haven’t been able to throw extra money at it to try and improve ride

I assume a Platinum has CCS ? (my 19 Limited Stealth does, anyways) It should ride a little stiffer in Sport mode, which should reduce the floaties.

Maybe I'm use to our various F series pickups. The 350 is pretty rough. But my 19 expedition max Platinum, rides great. After 5 years I've never heard a peep from the kiddos in the back and they are never short on opinions. good luck! Hope you can get something sorted out and enjoy your expedition again.
