Looking for some VDM / CCD suspension experts in the group. If you work at Ford maybe you can validate this for me.

2019 Expedition with 72K miles.
I've had the vehicle in at the dealer in October for service after replacing all four CCD shocks with brand new FoMoCo CCD replacements.
Vehicle was riding fine on the old three shocks, but front left shock was leaking. Vehicle had 70K, so I decided to replace all of them.
I did this myself, fronts first, and drove wonderfully/smooth for about about 2 weeks.
Then I replaced both of the rears, and since then it was extremely stiff and bumpy (like no dampening)

I followed the instructions and used Forscan to reset / recalibrate the VDM module ride height - it said "successful".

When I took the vehicle in (specifically getting an alignment) and I also asked them to check everything over, and torque the rear lower control arm bolts to spec (I don't have a torque wrench that goes to 406 ft/lb).

They torqued and checked everything, and said that when they attempted to calibrate, it wouldn't complete the calibration procedure.
The dealer opened a TAC case, and TAC came back and said it's a known issue, but no resolution yet.

That was a month ago , and I followed up this week asking for TAC case number and/or update. I don't know if this is factually true, because my SA didn't give me a TAC case to reference. And TAC is now stating the calibration only sets the ride height. But I've read that not completing the calibration will default the shocks to a full firm. (which would explain my current ride quality). So is Forscan really calibrating? I have reset/rebooted the VDM module. There are no errors or DTCs.

Any help, advice, troubleshooting, or things I can do, or have the dealer do to remedy would be appreciated.

Well based on the numerous responses in this thread (LOL) I brought it back to the ford dealer. They worked with TAC and they were able to program/reprogram the VDM module. All is good again.
