So I posted a bit ago about the AC compressor failing in my wife's 06. No plan to fix it right now cause I can't afford that bill. But we went camping this weekend and when we got back the battery was drained enough that it wouldn't start. I put the charger on it for a few hours. Took charger off, started fine. This morning, drained enough that it would only click. Bought it used 4 years ago and that batter was in it then. So I am hoping that it is just a bad battery.

Could the compressor issue be draining the battery?

How old is the battery? IF it's 5 years or older then yes I'd say it's just the battery. If it's a new battery then you're gonna have to do some troubleshooting with an amp meter to find a drain.

well the battery is at least 4 years old and did test bad when I took it in so hopefully that is all. I really couldn't think of anything related to the compressor that would cause a drain so I hope this will take care of that issue.
