I am thinking of buying an otherwise mint, well-maintained (with papers) 2019 Expedition XLT. Active Shutter I noticed that the bumper was not completely level and there was a minor crack in it. Not a big deal. But when I looked behind it, the Active Grille Shutter was in pieces. Apparently, the guy hit a small deer a couple of years ago. Throws a P05A1:00-2F code, without activating the check engine light. I know that there can be problems if the system is locked closed, but basically there is no AGS system there at all. Is it a big deal for this to be missing/not working? THe price of the vehicle is good and it otherwise mint. I don't want to make a mountain out of a molehill, but I don't want major issues down the road.

For extra credit, what would be involved in buying the part and replacing it? Is it something that is easy enough to do by removing the front bumper cover and undoing some bolts, or is it a big complex production?

Thanks!
