So .. discovered time to replace wiper blades on my 2014EL yesterday.
(turns out all 3 are shot)
I keep a supply in the garage so that means just go grab them & install.
Then order new stock to have on hand for next time.
Sometimes I order enough to cover multiple years.

Checked AutoZone & Advance Auto and they don't sell the rear wiper ... the Unicorn.
Checked front prices and GEEZ there are some CrAzY prices like $35 a blade. F that!
Some models are "reasonable" price compared to that.
Found some ones I like on CARID and ... prices not better + $16 shipping. F that!
... at least CARID has the rear wiper blade, I'll give them that!

Shopped around (online) and ended up on ROCKAUTO, ordered with FedEx shipping--> $28
- 2 rear .... Trico 16J ($4.28 apiece)
- 2 front ... Trico ICE 35220 ($4.56 apiece)
btw: notified 3 hours later, shipped & be here by Wednesday

Conclusion ... stock up, buy online, have shipped to home = much easier & cheaper

I suppose it's like some of the Explorer rears...have to have a special wiper blade? As in, NOT one you get at a parts store?

Supposed to be rainy here all weekend, and mine is bad....

If you have a 2007-2009 Expedition the rear is a common wiper with the hook arm and can be purchased anywhere. There is a mod that 10-17 owners do to switch to the 07-09 style rear wiper arm but you’d have to look for the thread...I always just get the rear at autozone.

Yes, although you might find it as 16J or 16-J.
I can't locate it on the AutoZone or Advance Auto websites, they "used to sell it".
There might be alternatives from other manufacturers.

Seems a lot struggle with removing it.
I just put my fingers & thumb like this and press .. hard with thumb ... to pop it off.
Use both hands (one top and bottom) to apply even pressure, but not when taking picture.

If you want you can just slide the "rubber blade" out & replace that with a refill
I did that once before I figured out how to pop the whole blade off

The newer design front ones are just simple with no bridge on top which only catches snow and hard to get out. They are spring steel backed, curved, and flex to the contour of your window. You can get these for as little as $10 a set with free shipping on ebay. I have both but it looks like the bridged ones are going away like the hula hoops. The curved ones often have a wind deflector on them also. There must be 20 different attachment methods but the arms ends are either wide or narrow hooked type, bayonet, or a few others. (they can't be all standard) :mad3: I think all the Expys have the wider hooked arms.

My local O'Reillys auto parts store had the rear wiper in stock, if not they can order them next day. Yes autozone does not carry the rear any more.

By the way ... they arrived yesterday morning. That was fast.
RockAuto and FedEX have their act together. Bravo.

As an aside. What an incredible country & time we live in. Have you seen the vaccine rollout? Not only did modern science hit the ball out of the park with modern technology, we have freezers, frozen carbon dioxide, trucks, roads, planes, hospitals, medical professionals, you name it - we have it. First class! Greatest country in the world. How would you like to live in a third world country where they don't even have roads to your village, let alone the ability to create a vaccine and get it to you by keeping at -100 degrees as long as needed? I've said it before & I'll say it again ---> Greatest Country EVER

The rear wiper was tough to find, so I ordered direct from Ford - it arrived in a few days and was not exorbinant in price (just over $10 I believe). Perfect fit.

If you have a Costco membership, try buying there. They stock Michelin blades in 22” (front) and 16” (rear) at a very very low cost. And you can stock up as you indicated.
