I got the strutmasters air to standard conversion installed on my 07 expy el eb and the front seems to gave dropped. The ride quality is fantastic, but I'm not sure I got the right parts....

Here's my specs after the install. I didn't think to measure before and after.

Front tire to wheel arch is 3.5” (fender clearance)
Front ground to wheel arch 34.75”

Rear tire to wheel arch 5.57” (fender clearance)
Rear ground to wheel arch 36.75”

Thanks!

My guess is that the airbags would level the truck for better appearance. Obviously they no longer do that so now you just have some natural rake from the standard parts due to the engine weight, towing considerations, etc. I think the parts are probably right, its just a different look. You can get small spacers that would raise the front an inch or so from ebay and that would negate the raked look.

FWIW, I just went out and measured mine ( 08 Expy Limited 4x4 Regular Length- Non Air suspension)

Front ground to wheel arch 35 3/8" +/-

Rear ground to wheel arch 34 3/4" +/-

Seems yours might be nose diving quite a bit.

Attached pic of rake of mine.

You went from air ride to coil springs?

Yep. all 4 corners for $800 vs. $700 per. The air shocks were shot and had almost no dampening whatsoever. I was on the freeway and hit a decent sized bump and the rear literally went airborne. Very scary. The ride quality is great, but I'm not happy with the look of it, the front is way too low. Still waiting to hear back from Strutmatsers on the solution.
