So i just discovered that my cat makes a kind of noise like something is loose inside. I have a po420 code also so its safe to assume ithat i need a new cat. How good are after market cat for a 04 expy 4.6 code just came on not to long ago. Also, how long do i have before something happens like leaving me stranded or something worse. So far no issues suv runs great. Thanks

If its rattling around its already broken inside and is just the luck of the draw as to when it clogs something. Aftermarket units are supposed to be just as good if not better than factory. So get it done as soon as its convinient. But the sooner the better.
