It's definitely bad for your paintwork... IPA diluted to 10-20% is safe for paint.

I have used this year round for years and never an issue in any of our vehicles.
I also make sure to tell the shop when getting an oil change not to top off the reservoir.

If you fill your washer with all season fluid that doesn't freeze at -30°, you need to run the washer long enough for the anti freeze formula to make it through all the hoses.

For IPA. Why not same stuff everywhere. I get it for other stuff but for one ingredient items it’s hard to argue.
