Coolant getting low but no visible leaks that I can see. Is there a usual suspect hose or something?

2003 Eddie Bauer edition. This started recently where I checked all the levels before a trip. Noticed the coolant was low, topped off the reservoir, did road trip, like 600 miles and before I left to go back home checked levels and the reservoir was low again. Still some in there but well under the minimum level. I haven't noticed any leaks when stopped and I poke around. But I haven't removed any panels or anything. I am curious if there is a hose or two that are known to go out first? Or something else?

The most common problem with the 5.4L losing coolant without any external sign is the intake manifold delaminating where it mounts to the crossover. The coolant then gets sucked into the combustion chamber and burned off.

Mine also had the following leaks that took a bit of time to find. The heater valve leaked coolant and it burned off on the block without hitting the ground. I had another coolant leak in the rear where the heater hoses go through the floor pan on the passenger side. It was leaking inside and I finally found it when it started dripping down the hose onto the tail pipe.
