Sounds like an episode of Fast and loud. I may be possible, but not practical. The PCM controls of transmission, theft and other sensors will not interchange. The 5.0l block may bolt up, but exhaust manifolds wont. The throttle, by wire is needed. The 8qt oil pan probably wont clear. A 5.0l used engine are very expensive. Cheaper to get a Shelby 5.4L or crate motor from Ford racing.
