Does anyone have "cop wheels" on their EXPY?

I'm wondering what blacked out wheels with the chrome center cap would look like on a white First Gen Expy. Does anyone have a picture of one, or can photoshop it? If someone has picture of these wheels on another colored EXPY, I'd like to see those too.

I tried to find one of those sites that shows you your vehicle with different wheels, but I forget which site I used before to do that.

Heck I just went to the site and tried it myself, but I see that even with the ones that you did, the wheels come in at a weird looking angle.

Soft 8's is one option I was looking at. I also debated having the stock wheel painted black. No lightbar for me, but a push bar, and possible A-pillar mounted spot lights are a possibility.

Are you looking to do some freelance police work?
Maybe some recreational speed trapping?
Or... Do you just want the look so that everyone pulls to the right lane and slows down when you approach... Does make getting through traffic easier!

You could get one of the led light bars that clear when off. Just make sure its Amber when on so the real cops cant bust you for impersonating. But a lighter on the roof of an SUV def makes the left lane open up for you ;) and the cop wheels are just black factory steel wheels with a chrome cap and some have a chrome trim ring.

I am a State Constable. My EXPY now looks Police enough. Unfortunately, no one pulls over, they just do the speed limit dead on. Which often is a pain. I'll be getting rid of it soon, and possibly getting another. Just toying with different looks. I like the look of the Police Tahoes whether Black or White with the blacked out rims and chrome center cap. Just trying to visualize what it would look like on an Expedition. With the type of work I do, there are times when looking like a cop helps and times when blending in more is better. I was in the process of getting my 98 the way I want it, when I found out it wasn't worth putting more money into. So I am going to cut my losses and start over with another vehicle. Considering all my specialized equipment already fits a Gen 1 Exped, I figure I might as well get another in better condition.

I'm going with an off-road style push bar (which I already have) instead of a Police Style. Roof mounted lights. Tint the windows darker so it's harder to spot the cage. No external stripes.

Yeah for some reason some of the rims on that site are at weird angles, but it gives you a idea of how it will look on your vechile

speaking of constables we used to have one out by us named constable fatasss, he pretty much gave up trying to make us country folk clean up our junk cars, I used to let my dogs out whenever he came around and he was scared of them

Different type of Constable. I serve Warrant for the lower courts. Collect fines and take people to Jail. What you described would be code enforcement. I'd just pepper spray the dogs.

didn't mean to be a ass bout you being a constable, I was just saying the local one was a tool

I took no offense. Constable is a generic term, and different states give that term to various "officers". In Canada, thats what they call patrol officers. Some states Constables do similar jobs to what I do, but they are on the county payroll. I pay for all of my own equipment out of pocket and only get paid when I actually find someone. If I drive around all day and don;t catch anyone, I don't get paid.

Well, I got my black expy. I plasti dipped my wheels. And left the center cap with the chrome and gray. I think it would look better if the caps were just chrome.
