2008 Expy EL ~80k miles. Bought it about 3 years ago with 61K. I live in Florida, so it doesn't get too cold here very often. I have noticed this winter that when the temp drops to 60 or below at night, I will go to start the Expy in the morning and the driver information center is black. I can drive the Expy around for a while and warm up the inside, the driver information center stays black. If I ignition off and start the engine again, the driver information center works normally. If I start the Expy in the morning and its 65*F or more, the driver information center is flawless and bright. Anyone else experienced this?

Probably a cold solder joint inside the cluster. Not a difficult repair. I am trying to recall if the 2008 has a VFD tube or LCD display.

Solder joint would be my guess too. One of my other cars does the opposite - its display turns off or flickers when it’s warm.
