Flooding like crazy out here in Alberta !!!

Just hoping all of you and your families are staying strong and dry through all of this flooding. Luckily I'm in Taber, about half an hour east of Lethbridge...and the Old Man river is a few kilometers out of town and way down in the coulees. So we haven't got hit nearly as bad as the other areas in Alberta.

Praying for you all in High River, Calgary, Canmore, and all the other affected areas.

This is about as bad as it has been so far in Lethbridge... Bad but nothing like the other towns.

Sorry I missed this post before, it's such a infrequently posted section I oftern miss it.



As a resident of Cowtown, I saw first hand the very high waters. I was also very fortunate in that my home is High on a hill so the worst effects I felt personally were a really crappy drive to/from work. There were/are a great many people that suffered far more than me and my family, so I will not complain in the slightest.

And I can safely say, that as bad as it was here with the fury of mother nature showing us how insignificant we really are, it is nothing even close to some of the other recent disasters we have seen; Hurricane Kat, the Oklahoma Tornado this spring, and many MANY others. As bad as it got here, we cannot even begin to claim we approached any of those other disasters.
