I checked mine earlier this morning using the NHTSA and it showed nothing outstanding. Guess I'll have to check again later

"The fix: dealers will update the integrated trailer module software, free of charge, or through an over-the-air (OTA) update."

Sounds like we might not even have to take the vehicle in for this one...my favorite kind of fix.

Factory Ford brake controllers seem too sensitive to me, they flash a trailer disconnected warning very easily.

I will let you know what I find out after I de winterize my trailer in the next month.
