Got the dreaded clicking in my front blend door actuator. Looking for a workaround because of the difficulty of replacing it and the fact that the blend door itself at 21 years old has the possibility of being broken. Since I'm in Florida I want the coldest AC possible. I can do without heat.
So here is my question: is it possible to shut off the hot water supply to the heater element as an alternative to the temperature control system that is no longer working properly. I can live without heat in the winter since I'm in Florida.
My two valve 2004 EB only has 88K miles and otherwise looks and drives like new, and being a Florida car has no rust. This nagging problem has me really kind of sick that it's such a good car but has this defective system.
It's getting really hot down here. Help!
