....any ideas?I've got the automatic climate control which seems to be working, the settings respond when changed but the front blower never starts. I'm under the impression that this model doesn't have a resistor per-se but a speed control module. I'll have to look and see what it has.
I know on the Crown Vics/Grand Marquis/Marauders the blower speed control module has been troublesome, due to bad solder joints on the circuit board. If you can find where the module is mounted on the heater box, try tapping it with the butt end of a screwdriver to see if the blower starts. The module controls the ground side of the blower power. The positive side of the blower connector can show juice but still not work. Connecting both leads of the blower to the battery direct will rule out a bad blower if it runs. Hold on though, she'll run full bore hooked up this way. Even replacement modules have failed, the ultimate cure is re-soldering the two large power pins on the circuit board.
