Front drive shaft

I have a 2000 Expedition xlt, when I bought my bat mobile the front drive shaft was out I'm trying to put it back in but not sure if there's a certain way it has to go back in... thanks to anyone that can help...

Get the service manual. Lots of links on here on how to get one. I'm sure it will have the complete breakdown on how to do it.
