I'm doing this from memory...so I'm bound to miss a couple steps. But this should get you started and I'm sure you can figure out the rest.

Pop the hood. Unscrew and remove the black plastic cowl that covers the radiator. Remove the screws that are on the now exposed part of the top of the grille. Remove the corner lights (requires removing one screw from each, which are accessible from under the hood). Remove the screws holding the grille to the fender which are behind where the corner lights were. Between the grille and bumper there are wind deflectors that need to be pried downward from the grille. There are two tension clips behind the center of the grille (that should be all that is left holding it); just tug it out.

I hope I didn't forget anything, but if I did I'm not liable! Just use common sense and you should be able to figure it out w/o breaking anything.

you probably could... but it will be a lot harder and probably break something... a lot easier to remove the entire grille surround and then the grill... can be done in 10 min even taking your time...

I just removed mine today..... fairly easy. Those lower center clips were very tight...had to use screw driver to loosen them up enough to pull it out.
