Is there a cheap way to replace either the full hose or just the connector on the end? It broke apart during removal. I can’t find a hose locally and ones online are stupid expensive.

I do, but all the parts are special order. Grrrr... All the connectors say '3/8 to 5/16'. Does that mean one side is 3/8 and the other end is 5/16? Or does it mean that it can fit anywhere from 3/8 to 5/16 on both sides? My fuel filter is 5/16 outside diameter.

It also seems that for the nylon tubing, I need a 'tube holder' and some sort of vice/squeeze/clamp to push the connector in straight. I see they sell tools for that too... I'm considering searching a junk yard off any spare Ford and see if I can grab a line that way. However, that makes me nervous since you never know what condition those could be in. The last thing I want is to get this all put back together and fueled up only to find out there's a leak... Your thoughts on all this?

Thank you for the response!
