for my heater to be programmed to start blowing warm heat at a certain time of the year, Every winter my heater does not start to blow heat until around the 1st week of December. than it will work fine the rest of the winter. (weird)

shoota, no, there is no such thing built into our trucks for something like that. With that being said, I would recommend you take a look at your thermostat. It may be that your thermostat is acting funny and it is pushing too much coolant through your radiator and it is causing the motor to run too cold and only till the temp drops does it close enough to give enough flow to push water through your dash heater core. Granted, could also have a partial blockage in the dash heater core and that is only aggravating what I am mentioning above.
