I'm getting about 12-13 highway. Going 60-70 mph.

Any ideas? I thought I'd be seeing 16-18.

Any maintenance items need to be done at 150k miles?

Tuner, cold air intake, cut off the resonator, and replace the muffler with a thrush glasspack

I get 12 around town. When was the last time it had a tune up? New plugs, fuel filter, clean the MAF, etc.

I'd kill for 12mpg's right now, I'm averaging 9.3 right now. I'm in desperate need of a tune up but construction sucks in the winter so the funds are a little lacking at the moment.

2nd gens would but not till 2005 I think. 2003 and 2004 have the same 2v motor as the 2002s. 2005 I believe is when they got the 3v motor.

that is correct...invest in a programmer...superchips...edge...diablosport...check 5startuning on the vendor page and get a custom tuned programmer designed to how you want your truck to run for same price of those i mentioned...

Dang. These get worse MpG's than my lifted 4.7v8 dodge.

I'm trying to win a really cheap Superchips on eBay now. If I do, and I feel some ponies loosened. I might buy a K&N intake. After that I'll keep you posted. Really want to get a set of sway bars. But they are expensive for me right now.

are your mpg computations based on fill up gallons and miles driven?
the trip computers are notorious for inaccuracy +/- as well as the instantaneous read out.

I've averaged 13.47 mpg over the lifetime since delivery in 05/1997 (161,000+) using the above mentioned method.
