Hello, We have a 2020 Exp Max Limited 2wd. I was going through my maintenance history today because it was just in for AC not working & seatbelt recall and the dealer recommended some things. Normal maintenance we do at a Ford dealer that's close to the house, bigger maintenance we take it to the dealer we bought it at.

At 100,000miles I had the closer dealer perform lots of stuff. Trans flush, Coolant flush & exchange, 3 part Fuel System Service, spark plugs. I did the rear diff fluid with Ford fluid myself. And I replaced both belts and a pulley, myself, due to it squeaking.

We had the brakes flushed at the dealer 22,000miles ago and had the trans rebuilt for the 2nd time 19,000 miles ago.

It's at 140,000 miles now and after fixing the AC they recommended spark plugs, fuel system service, cooling system, differential fluid, and brake fluid flush. I think it is just because we didn't have those things done at this particular dealer.

Are the service intervals shorter the higher mileage the expedition gets?

You are correct, dealers do not share non warranty information.
