Need help asap

I bought a 2000 expedition with a 5.4 engine that was locked up ,so i went bought a complete used engine it turns out to be a 4.6 out of a 1999 expo will the engine run in the vehicle everthing looks the same even the sensors are the same i looked it up they both have the same fuel pump but what about the computer please help

Short answer... probably. Will it run well? maybe.

You should always get the computer when you grab a motor from a junkyard.

Also whenever you swap a different size/type of motor in a vehicle, you will have some unforseen issues to figure out. It just goes with the territory.

Ideally, you would have swapped in a 5.4 from the same year truck, but that's hindsight now.
