Hello all, just purchased a 1997 Ford Expedition. Don't know much about it yet. It is in okay shape. Got it cheap as the owner suspected fuel pump failure. Has the 5.4 with a tow package. Not sure what trim package yet.
I live in Vegas and the (place your own description here) that decimated the country this year has left me broke, in debt beyond recovery and preparing to move away. Our current vehicle (2012 Dodge Challenger), despite being unaffordable with no income, is ill suited to transport myself, my wife, our 2 cats and our belongings across the country. So the search for the 1000 dollar SUV/Van/Truck with shell began. Kissed some frogs but eventually found what could be a great rig. Too early to tell. The upside, I have 2 amazing Brothers who are top notch wrenches with one being a Blue Oval fanatic.
So begins my story with you folks. Can't wait to get to know some of you. I will learn from your mistakes and take advantage of your hard won knowledge.
Some basics about me. Male, 50, decent mechanical aptitude with knowledge of tools and procedures beyond the average person. I am a coincidence skeptic not a conspiracy theorist, truther in all things. I have an unshakable faith in GOD and a personal relationship with JESUS. I don't judge others for their beliefs or behaviors (yes I have feelings about them and can fall into the trap of beginning to do so as I am human) because its their right to hold them and act however they choose. I expect the same in return. I love debate if it is logical and isn't angry. I am a music junkie who appreciates every genre. I strum guitar and sing pretty well. I am a creative person who dabbles in arts and crafts. I am a paracord artist, I make and sell items online. I am cook by trade but there are other things I am competent enough at to make a living.
