we have had the 16 now about 40 days
my wife has an issue with the easy out function that moves the seat aft when you shut the engine off,
let me preface this as she is vertically challenged as in just 5 foot tall
i am over 6'3" so there is a wide margin of vertical difference
I set her key to be smart key so once she starts the truck the seat, pedals and steering wheel, mirrors all move to her setting.
as does my key to my preferences
the problem is..in our 150, as soon as the key touched the ignition, the seat and all would move to her position..
the expy the push button start requires you to TOUCH the brake pedal to start the engine, and THEN the seat, mirrors, pedals and steering wheel move to the set spot tied to the key in use
when the seat is full retract after last shutdown, she cant reach the brake pedal to apply it enough to start the engine without schooching forward ..like almost off the seat.
I cant laugh anymore with out getting the look.
so how do i set the seat to retract for easy egress and exit, but still be close enough for her to reach the pedals?
I said just move the seat forward manually depressing the switch, then start the engine and let the memory take over and set her seat, mirrors etc.
