I'm fixing to build a system in my 03 Expedition back hatch area.
Does anyone know how I can remove/gut the A/C component behind the rear quarter panel?

I can't find a way to do it without affecting the front A/C from not working.

Thanks

You will need to disconnect the hvac system under the hood. Both heat and air conditioning lines tee in near the right front wheel. The heater hoses are easy, the air conditioning is more complicated. If you have never done any air conditioning work please see a professional. You may need some custom hoses made or maybe F150 hoses would work. It requires special equipment to recover the refrigerant legally. It certainly can be done.
