PCM and Vss wire location

Hi, I tried running a search but didn't come up with much info. Anyway, I'm looking for the location of the Powertrain control module and vss wire for my navigation installation. I've got a 99 Eddie Bauer edition expedition. Anyway, is object that is behind a black cover that's near the battery the pcm? I had to remove 4 10mm bolts or was it 4 8mm bolts.


So far I know it's a black/gray wire. Can I find this wire behind the instrument cluster?

Hey I just did a nav install. Pull out the instrument panel and it'll be in one of the harnesses that plug into the instrument panel. It is black/gray.
