I'm new on here and I'm looking for some expertise. I have a 2009 Ford Expedition King Ranch with Eddie Bauer trim. My friends, my mechanic and I cannot seem to fix the issue. The truck won't start.
The battery is fine. The fuel line, fuel filter and fuel pump all work and I am getting gas to my injectors. The spark plugs were replaced and are brand new. There's ignition and fuel but it won't start. Fuel pressure is 55. It has been sitting for about 4 weeks now. If anyone has any idea please help me. I love my truck. It's so comfortable and makes me feel safe on the road. I don't want to end up taking it to the junkyard.

Stripped timing gear. Have checked the timeing? Have you done a compression test?

Crank shaft and or cam shaft position sensor will do exactly that.
Crank no start.
I was thinking crank shaft position sensor but didn't realize the cam sensor would prevent a start as well. But since OP said he's taken it to a mechanic, a monkey with a scan tool could pull that DTC to put you on the right path.

I find it hard to believe that it's not throwing any codes so any chance you just forgot to mention what codes are present?

Update... Left my truck at another mechanic. He suggested fuel pump pressure sensor or gas inlet valve. I was told the truck is not pulling any codes because it is not running.

Does your tach move while cranking? It shouldn’t move much, but just a little.

Codes will show even if the truck is not running. If you are trying to start the truck and there are sensors not working, codes should still be stored.
