I have a 2007 Ford Expedition Limited with the 5.4L V8. I have a bad leak in my power steering. It's located on the passenger side of the radiator. I've lost power steering. I know I have a condenser issue, but I can't afford the $1200 price tag on getting it replaced. I'm a disabled veteran and on a very limited income. What I want to do is bypass the power steering cooler/condenser temporarily until I can save up the money to get the whole thing replaced correctly. I tried to find the hoses that run in and out of the condenser for the power steering, but was unsuccessful. I couldn't find any diagrams online to help me. Information regarding the hose diameters isn't easy to find either. I need that to know what parts I need to do the bypass. If anyone can help me, I would really apopreciate it.

Can you do any work on your Expy at all ? It's as much work to "bypass" it ( and risk more damage to the system...) as it is to just install a new condenser and have the AC system recharged. A new Motorcraft condenser is about $200 .
