I left the key in my coat pocket that I put in the cargo area at the back. Key not detected. Wouldn’t start.

Mine starts with the key in the cargo area. I was hoping it wouldn't.

I just tried wrapping the fob in tin foil, as aggiegrad05 suggested. Even with the fob in my lap, the dash said "No key detected".
