Shuddering of 2000 trans

What am I in for ..... about 80k miles and am now experiencing shuddering in higher gears .... maybe just O/D. THis first occurred about 3 months ago, had the fluid replaced and it was low.....but has now returned. Do I need a trip to the dealer? How could the fluid change stopped the problem for those 3 months? THanks, Brian

The torque converter was prolly starved. I'm not an expert on tranny stuff, but I know that low fluid causes problems.
Have you checked your fluid level lately? If low, you might add if needed. I'm assuming you know how to check fluid level.
