Special Service Message 53578 - 2025 Expedition/Navigator - DTC P0929:71 Stored In The Gear Shift Module (GSM)
Some 2025 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may exhibit diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0929:71 in the gear shift module (GSM) when a diagnostic self-test is performed. This may be due to the software within the GSM. P0929:71 should be ignored if no other DTCs are present in the GSM and no customer concerns are present. Address any other DTCs present using normal Workshop Manual (WSM) diagnostics. Replacement or reprogramming of the GSM will not resolve this condition at this time.
